Medical & Relief camp, in association with Customs Health Care & TABA was held from 30th Aug. Friday till 1st Sept. Sunday in flood affected peripheral areas of district Bahawalpur & Muzaffargarh, Punjab-Pakistan.
The organizations which participated were:
1. Customs Health Care Society.
2. Naim un Naseer.
3. Kawish Welfare Trust.
The area has been adversely affected, crops damaged, houses and pathways flooded with water.
Around 220 bags were distributed at Pind Kundai in the presence of local police to avoid any kind of untoward incident.

In the evening, the medical and relief camp was held at Seethpur ration packs were disseminated among the flood victims.

Below are the pics of 3rd day when our team visited a village in Uch Sharif. While saving two persons on a motorbike, truck got out of control, its axle got broken and overturned alongside of the road. Four Kawish team members along with the truck driver got hurt. All were immediately hospitalized for medical treatment and thanks to Almighty Allah who saved the lives of all.

NEXT CAMP: September 13-15th: Victims of flooded water in Sutluj:
The next distribution of relief goods shall take place on 15th September 2013 for the people affected by the flood in River Sutlej. The residents of the villages and Katcha along River Sutlej were evacuated by rescue teams and taken to relief camps on higher ground. Our 16 members team of Hunarmand Kawish is already there for surveying the areas, collecting data of the most deserving cases (upto 500 families) for ration packs distribution and assessing the damage/loss .We will share snaps/report of the activity in our next update.
