Al-Rahman Hospital

In 2004, KWT started its welfare activities, in the medical field, by establishing a dispensary in Budhanwala settlement 20 Km from Bahawalnagar city. The dispensary is situated at a distance of 8 Km from the main highway.

The dispensary has now been upgraded as a mini hospital to provide basic health facilities. It is housed in picturesque surroundings. The two storey building has a construction area of 5000 sq ft.

The hospital has treated more than 60,000 patients in 6 years Alhamdolillah.

Eye Surgery Project

An operation theatre with state-of-the-art equipment at a hospital in South Punjab for cataract eye surger ies. Eye camps are organized on a monthly basis and back up support is given through weekly follow up. Over 4500 surgeries have been safely conducted. We charge only Rs. 1000 for providing all services including surgical cost, logistics and overnight stay. Eye Outpatient Department (OPD) services are offered free to patients.

Gynea Section

In January 2006, KWT established a Gynea Section in the hospital to provide relief to the deprived female population. Gynea Section at each Spoke is to provide relief to the deprived female population at their doorsteps. Emergency patients are transported to nearest civil hospital by Kawish ambulance service in shortest possible time.

Ambulance project:

06 ambulances have been provided in as many rural hospitals which are available 24 hours to handle emergency of any kind.

Al-Rahim Hospital

Another building is being constructed 15 KM away from Al-Rahman Hospital. It will house another hospital for the villagers. Same facilities and services shall be provided, in the new hospital, which are being provided in Al-Rahman Hospital.

Total cost of this project is Rs. 3.5 Millions. Another ambulance has been imported from Japan for this hospital.
