KWT has collaborated with Haleeb foods and has established 2 milk collection centers in remote villages of Bahawalnagar. Daily collection is approx. 400 liters.

KWT is targeting to collect 10,000 liters milk daily by opening 40 collection centers with daily collection of 250 liters per collection center.

Purpose: Employment, Self Sustainability, Mosque Repair/Maintenance, and Expansion of Schools:

Alhmdulilah, Kawish has successfully opened 12 VMC (Village Milk Collection Centers) in collaboration with Haleeb in the remote areas of Bahawalnagar and we are collecting about 1500 Liter milk per day during Launch, only.

This activity is part of Kawish Welfare Trust’s self sustainable program where 40 such milk collection centers shall be established ( so far 10 established) at our primary schools Territory (approx. 50 km area diameter) for the collection of milk from farmers for onward supply to Haleeb factory against premium. The income generated shall be used to create 80 employments, allocating handsome package for teachers and generate local free school’s operational expenses. This would help us to expand our Iqra Schools system to many remote areas and increasing quantity from 90 schools (current) to 300 numbers in next 03 years, inshallah.

We shall also incorporate social interventions such as Kawish’s Health, education, Microfinance (interest Free) to facilitate Farmers participating in our program. Akhuwat – Pakistan has principally agreed to support us. Haleeb Team is active in providing Trainings, System tools (VMC equipment & chillers) & suggesting corrective measures for improvement.
